Center for Enhanced Learning and Teaching (CELT) is pleased to introduce to you the new online Research Skills Development Programs.  These online courses intend to complement your departmental training to equip you to be effective doctoral researchers!

Invitation to Alumni Dinners and Focus Group Meetings

CELT would like to invite UG alumni graduated in 2010 or earlier to attend focus group meetings (with a free dinner and a souvenir) to share their views about their professional experience in May/June 2012.

Dear LMES Users,

We are pleased to inform you that there are more new and enhanced features in the LMES now. Here are some highlights:

Messages Tool: With this tool, instructors may communicate with students without going back to their email system. This tool works like an internal messaging system. It allows instructors to send messages to a student or a group of students within a course site. Notification on new messages for different courses will also be shown on user’s home page for a quicker access.

Call for Proposals for Teaching Development Projects Academic Year 2011/2012

Funded by the PROVOST, HKUST

CELT annually invites faculty and teaching staff to propose teaching development projects for their innovative teaching ideas that enhance teaching and learning. With the introduction of the 4-year undergraduate curriculum in 2012, proposals that involve pioneering new or extensively revised courses will be particularly welcomed; including those that focus on inquiry-based learning and capstone experiences.

The applications for the academic year of 2011/2012 has started and will last till end of September 2011.
